It’s time to act because:
- Over a third (34%) of people are still too embarrassed to ask for support.*
- Young people are saying they feel stigmatised by mental health professionals.*
- Nearly half of us (44%) trying to access treatments like talking therapies feel like we’re not supported on time.**

Let’s take action to change this on World Mental Health Day 2023.
Take action with Leeds Mind
Look after yourself
Mind has lots of information on how we can look after our mental wellbeing on its website. We’ll be sharing how our team looks after themselves on our social media channels on 10th October – follow along on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
Get support
As your local Mind, we offer services such as counselling, peer support, creative activities, financial wellbeing and much more. Browse our services, or get in touch to learn more. Call 0113 305 5800 or email info@leedsmind.org.uk
Support our work
You can support Leeds Mind’s work towards better mental health for all by raising awareness or money for our cause.
For example, why not take part in our Firewalk this November? Or get your workplace or school involved in Multicoloured Monday? You’ll find our full list of events here.
Get involved
We couldn’t do what we do without the work of our volunteers. Check out our current volunteer roles, which includes Chair of Trustees. There is also an ongoing voluntary opportunity to join our Impact Group, where you can help us shape our work.
We also regularly have exciting paid employment roles on offer. You can see the latest vacancies here.
