Christmas is right around the corner and what better way to get into the holiday spirit than by donning your best festive knitwear for Christmas Jumper Day!
Taking place on Thursday 12 December, this event is a fantastic way to get your workplace or school involved with some fun and easy fundraising while raising awareness for mental health.
How to get involved
Getting involved is easy. Simply invite everyone at your organisation to come to work or school on 12 December in their most festive knitwear. Participants are asked to donate to Leeds Mind, with a suggested donation of £2 or more.
You could even add a theme or competition to your Christmas Jumper Day. Why not have a competition for the funkiest jumper or invite participants to dress up in their Christmas party outfits? You could also host a festive bake sale!
How to donate
- Let the fundraising team know you’re getting involved
By letting the team know, we can help you organise your event and help you fundraise in the best way for your organisation. - Gather your donations in cash or online
On the day, ask all participants to donate to the cause. This could be in cash donations or by setting up your own Christmas Jumper Day Just Giving page. - Tell us how much you raised
After the day, let our fundraising team know how much you raised and whether it is in cash or online. They can then guide you on how to pass your donation to Leeds Mind.
Our fundraising team is always on hand to support you with your Leeds Mind fundraiser. If you are interested in getting your organisation involved with Christmas Jumper Day or a similar fundraising event, reach out to us for inspiration and support—whether you’re planning an event at work, school, or with friends. We ask that you donate through our fundraising team rather than through the website so that we know how the money is raised and by whom – so we can celebrate your achievement!
