Training Bookings Terms and Conditions

Leeds Mind is a registered charity and affiliated with the Mind group. As a charity, we offer competitive rates for training, and any profits we make go back into supporting our key services.

There are additional Ts&Cs for online bookings.

Payment

We will issue an invoice once we have received a completed booking form. Payment is required prior to any training being delivered. We are not VAT registered and therefore fees are not subject to VAT.

We can deliver outside of the Leeds area, though we will charge for expenses (E.g., travel and hotel accommodation if needed). This does not apply for virtual delivery.

Training

On booking your sessions you will be advised on the maximum number of delegates per course. Please ensure you have booked enough sessions to accommodate the number of delegates wishing to attend.

On the day of the training, the trainer will need access to the training room 30 minutes prior to the session starting. Please advise if this will be an issue using the booking form. This does not apply for virtual delivery.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel please do this as soon as possible so that your reserved date(s) can be released to another organisation.

In the unlikely event that Leeds Mind need to cancel the training, you will receive a full refund.

Latecomers

If a delegate arrives late for a course or is absent from part of a session, Leeds Mind reserves the right to refuse access to the training where we feel they will gain insufficient knowledge or skills in the time remaining. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable.

Please be aware that where courses are accredited, full attendance is required from delegates. Delegates missing part of the course, arriving late or leaving early may affect this.

Adverse Weather Conditions

During adverse weather conditions we know that it can sometimes be difficult for trainers and delegates to get to training courses.

If the weather forecast indicates that trainers or delegates will have difficulty either getting to the venue or getting home again, we will decide whether to cancel the course, deliver virtually or amend start/finish times. Should the course be cancelled by us, we will reschedule the course or issue a refund.

Holding Your Details

Leeds Mind will hold your details on record for the purposes of contacting you in regard to your booking, as well as to let you know about other training events from time to time.

Please note that your booking will not be confirmed until we have acknowledged receipt of your completed booking form.
